Piers Morgan manages to dodge quarantine and his GMB co-stars were 'unimpressed'

Piers Morgan has been holidaying in Nice for the last few weeks - and has managed to dodge quarantine rules.

He quickly jetting back from France - but his Good Morning Britain co-stars weren't exactly enthusiastic about his return.

ITV correspondent Richard Gaisford had been speaking from Callais about the addition of France to the UK quarantine countries list.

Appearing on Lorraine, Andi Peters asked Richard whether he would be able to get home.

"Yes we have managed to get back home," he replied, but added: "Good news for you, Andi, and for the rest of us too - Piers Morgan has managed to beat quarantine."

Andi paused and hummed: "Er, yeah, sort of, I suppose."

Yesterday, Piers shared a selfie of himself with his two sons Spencer and Bertie from the departures lounge at the airport, writing: "Quarantine dodgers."

He then shared a card given to him by the British Airways crew, writing: "This is why I fly @british_airways - after great service flying home from Nice to avoid quarantine, the delightful cabin crew gave me this card to celebrate 20yrs in the Exec Club.

"Nice touch. BA’s staff are fantastic - their management need to stop treating them like dirt."
