Piers Morgan made a savage dig at Holly Willoughby for "not bothering" to collect her TRIC award last night.
The agitated Good Morning Britain host criticised the This Morning presenter for not attending the star-studded bash at Grosvenor Hotel.
Speaking on today's GMB, Piers claimed he was "always the bridesmaid and never the bride" before a scathing rant.
Piers said: "We won absolutely the square root of eff all.
"What was pleasing was that Holly Willoughby won again for This Morning, and she didn’t even bother going. Doesn’t even bother going anymore."
Susanna Reid was far more gracious in defeat and congratulated her ITV colleagues, but Piers wasn't finished.
"Well done This Morning, big surprise," added Piers sarcastically.
Turning to new targets, he continued: "And Ant and Dec won which was a hugely over… I’ve been waiting a long time for those two to get their due recognition in this country and well done to Ant and Dec. They couldn’t be bothered to go either."
"Here’s the thing, award ceremonies, we’ll turn up. We’ll show up, we’ll do your red carpets, we’ll give you publicity."
Susanna then explained that the pair had been asked for lots of selfies at the awards.
But with fears over the spread of coronavirus it became quite "unnerving" for the GMB presenters.
Susanna said: "It was lovely to be asked for so many selfies, but the Susanna-tiser did come into play."
Agreeing that it was awkward, Piers said: "What was also unnerving is that a lot of them said to me, 'Oh, come on mate, can you hold the phone?'
"And they hand you their grubby, germ infested phone."
Piers confessed he is normally in "utopia" when fans swarm all over him but not anymore.
