Piers Morgan made a dig at his former Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid as his replacement on the show was announced.
Back in March, the 56-year-old walked off the GMB set after discussions about Meghan Markle's controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey with sparked thousands of complaints to Ofcom.
Piers and ITV then decided to part ways and he sensationally quit the show and then appeared on various other news channels to argue about freedom of speech.
And while Adil Ray covered for a while, ITV have recently hired former Labour spin doctor Alastair Campbell as Piers' replacement, with the 63-year-old joining Susanna to host GMB during the week.
But Piers had something to say when Susanna described her new host as "someone to provoke strong reaction and lively debate".
Taking to his column in the Daily Mail, Piers seized the opportunity to take a swipe at his former colleague.

He wrote: "My ex-TV wife Susanna Reid told viewers her new partner was ‘someone to provoke strong reaction and lively debate, tackle the big issues and speak in a language that real people understand’.
"Hmm, that sounds familiar! Then GMB’s Twitter account urged Campbell: ‘Welcome to the team! We can’t wait for some fiery debates, don’t hold back!’ Hmm, again.

"Given the manner of my departure, this seems extremely unwise advice…
"I’ve known Alastair for donkey’s years and, despite numerous bust-ups, always got on well with him. He’s also a properly trained and very experienced journalist, which I think every news show presenter should be. So, I wish him well.
"But forgive me for having a wry chuckle at the fact that I had to leave the show for declining to apologise for disbelieving Princess Pinocchio’s porky-pies, only to now be replaced by someone who has never apologised for spinning us into an illegal war that cost more than a million lives."
Campbell was part of Tony Blair’s team back at the turn of the century when the UK went to war with Iraq.
An inquiry years later found that the Blair government declared war on evidence that turned out to be lies – with some political commentators thinking this even contributed to the UK decision to vote in favour of Brexit.

Piers left Good Morning Britain after taking issue with some of the comments Meghan made during her interview with Oprah.
Some of the ‘facts’ Meghan gave during the televised chat were subsequently proven to be false.
Piers offered an opinion that Meghan should not be completely believed, sparking an angry backlash from viewers – while it has been reported that intervention from Meghan herself to ITV may have contributed to Piers leaving the show.
