Piers Morgan makes dig at GMB director's 'awkward' blunder during Bonnie Tyler interview

Piers Morgan hit out at Good Morning Britain's producer after they made an awkward blunder ahead of Bonnie Tyler's interview on the show.

Before they were about to begin, singing legend Bonnie was stood up in front of the screens with various pictures of herself on them.

Bonnie laughed out loud as Piers quipped was "brilliant".

Susanna explained: "We've got a picture of Bonnie Tyler who Bonnie Tyler has point out is not her."

"Who is that?!" Piers exclaimed. "It's not Sam Fox..."

"It might be," Bonnie quipped laughing. "It looks lie me when I was young."

"Any viewers who can tell us [who this is]..." Piers said. "That is not Bonnie Tyler!"

Piers added: "It's out director's favourite bit - the wall with all his great pictures on. Now it turns out he's putting pictures up that aren't the guests!"

GMB finally replaced the photo with the real thing (ITV)

"Just random people," Susanna quipped.

Piers continued: "That's awkward - who is that random woman in a leather top?! We'll find out..."

They finally did discover the truth mid-interview as Piers revealed that it was actually a tribute act.

Bonnie burst into laughter and simply said: "Wow!"

They soon changed the picture for a more up-to-date version.
