Piers Morgan linked with two TV stations after quitting GMB

Piers Morgan is already being linked with two TV stations after he quit Good Morning Britain.

The controversial host of the breakfast show on ITV quit on Tuesday after more than 40,000 people complained about his comments on Meghan Markle's interview.

But Morgan, 55, the former editor of The Mirror and author of multiple books - as well as host of a number of shows - seems to have more work lined up.

Morgan has already been linked to a new Rupert Murdoch station called News UK TV - which could also feature Lord Alan Sugar.

Ofcom has given approval for the station to broadcast, reports The Mirror.

Morgan has been seen at the new station's headquarters and home of the studio.

There is also speculation Morgan could join another new station - GB News.

Backed by journalist Andrew Neil, Morgan would be working alongside Dan Wootton.

Wooton tweeted directly to Piers: "Sorry to hear the news about your departure from GMB @piersmorgan If you’d like to come on the UK’s number 1 breakfast show to talk about it... we could make some space for you in the morning."
