Piers Morgan left gobsmacked by 95-year-old twins' secret to long life

Piers Morgan and Good Morning Britain co-host Susanna Reid were left in hysterics when the 95-year-old Tipton twins made a number of saucy comments live on air.

Identical siblings Lil and Doris Tipton spoke to the hosts on Tuesday's show from Lil's daughter's home in the West Midlands, where they both have moved in order to spend lockdown together.

Morgan asked the twins: "What is the secret to living so well?”

Lil pointed to her sister and quipped: "Plenty of sex!”

As Morgan burst into hysterics, Reid was left looking stunned and embarrassed.

The live interview covered topics such as living together after several years, the government response to care homes and nearly reaching 100 years old.

But viewers were left laughing out loud at Lil’s quip, as she went to on to say she wanted “thrilling not killing!”

Doris denied her sister’s claims, proclaiming “no sex!” as Lil carried on flirting with Morgan, saying “Watch out, I'm coming on to you now!”

Viewers were left delighted with the twins, as Morgan regained his composure, thanking the sisters for bringing some light relief to his day.

One fan wrote: “@piersmorgan please have Lil and Doris on every week.. adorable, hilarious and delightful”

Another stated: “Lil and Doris. Fantastic!!! Loved the interview. Cried with laughter”

It takes a lot to leave straight-talking Morgan lost for words, but it seems the twins managed it.

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV.
