Piers Morgan is back in America after almost two years away with fans speculating he's travelling there for a secret work project.
The 56-year-old former journalist took to social media to share snaps from his plane journey - his first trip to the US in 20 months - as he jetted off to sunny Los Angeles.
“Hi America… it’s been a while,” he wrote atop a snap of his view of the Los Angeles skyline from the plane.
Piers then shared a snap of him relaxing in his spacious first class seat, as he told his followers his return to the US was a long time coming.
“It’s been 20 long months, America, and I’ve missed you. But the wait is finally over… see you in 11 hours,” he wrote in the caption.
His famous friends commented on the snap, including former SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton, who wrote: “Safe travels mate.”

“Amen. I’m counting the days,” his ex-Good Morning Britain co-star Richard Arnold added.
His 1.8 million followers were quick to speculate why he was travelling to the US, with some suggesting he must be making another ITV documentary, or was appearing on Fox News.
One also cheekily suggested that it was a “very complicated way of trying to disguise being in I'm a Celebrity.”
However, some were irked by his luxury flight, and scolded him for travelling first class amid a climate change crisis.

“Sometimes traveling first class is just a douchy thing to do in the midst of climate crises,” one fumed, while another joked: “Please don’t come back.”
Some were also confused as to how Piers was able to return to the US, when the borders won’t be open until 8 November, as announced by the White House last week.
“How come??? They won’t allow us in until November???” one exclaimed. “Are you secretly a US citizen? As of now, Brits aren’t allowed into the US,” another asked.
Piers cleared up any confusion in a reply to one of his fans, as he suggested he’s been allowed into the US early because his daughter Elise, who he shares with wife Celia Walden, was born in Los Angeles.

“No, but my daughter is… she was born there,” he replied.
Others just took the opportunity to troll Piers over his feud with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as they joked he was visiting them in LA.
“You really going to visit your mates Meghan & Harry aren’t you?” one quipped. “Say hi to Markle for us,” another wrote, as one follower asked Piers to “give my love to Meghan” alongside laughing face emojis.
Piers then took to Twitter to share a video of the plane landing in sunny Los Angeles, as he thanked the British Airways cabin crew for an enjoyable flight.
“Touching down again in the USA… finally back after 20 long months. Thanks to Roberta & the brilliant cabin crew on BA281 for outstanding service - really exceptional & much appreciated. @British_Airways #LA,” he wrote.
