Piers Morgan has flown to Antigua for a luxury family holiday after beating Covid-19.

The broadcaster, 56, believes he contracted coronavirus last month at Wembley during the Euro 2020 final despite being double vaccinated.

Morgan suffered chest pain, a fever and cold sweats, saying it was “the roughest” he’d felt from any illness.

But the star added it could have been worse had he not received both doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine.

The former Good Morning Britain host jetted off to the Caribbean island with his sons this week.

Morgan, who has holidayed in Antigua several times, gave 1.7 million Instagram followers a glimpse into his getaway posting a picture from his bed, looking out at the sea view.

Captioned: “Current view. As my sons would put it… “not too shabby” (sic)”

Son Spencer, 26, poked fun at his father’s photography skills, commenting: “Sadly he lost his right leg on day one of the holiday.”

Morgan also shared a shot of the beach outside his five star hotel, showing the sun beaming down on the palm trees and sparkling ocean.
