Piers Morgan floored Good Morning Britain weather host Laura Tobin with a 'savage' insult on Wednesday's show.
Not for the first time, the outspoken presenter took aim at his ITV co-star right near the start of the latest instalment.
After welcoming viewers at 6.30am, Piers who clearly got out the wrong side of bed, bemoaned the fact that, instead of starting the show with a hard hitting story, they would be looking at a sunset.
"It's a sunrise!" co-host Susanna Reid interrupted before Laura addressed the duo and viewers watching at home to explain what made Wednesday's sunrise, captured at Canary Wharf, so special.

She revealed it was what is called Sahara sunrise and that some people would be waking up to dust on their cars this morning as a result.
She said: "When we have the Sahara dust, it scatters and we have this gorgeous pink sunrise.
"The downside, though, is the dust on the cars."
Distinctly unimpressed by what he heard, Piers sarcastically responded "fascinating" as Susanna exclaimed: "It's a moment of joy to wake you up!"
The camera then cut to a fed up looking Laura to which Piers reacted: "....unlike Laura’s savage little face, a moment of seething fury," as she then started smiling.
One viewer who witnessed the exchange at the start of Wednesday's GMB was quick to react, tweeting: "awww give over Piers!"
It's not the first time Piers has locked horns with Laura live on air.
Last summer he cut one of her weather forecasts short after she tried to crack a joke and then in September he branded her a "total nerd" over her prediction of an unseasonable heatwave.
