Former Good Morning Britain star Piers Morgan is rumoured to be in talks with Simon Cowell about a new television project.
Piers is said to be inundated with offers since leaving the early morning ITV breakfast show over his Meghan Markle comments recently.
His comments sparked a row with weatherman Alex Beresford in one final dramatic showdown which ended with Piers walking off live on air.
According to reports, Piers met Simon last week, before he even quit the show, to talk about some future work projects, reports The Daily Record.
A source told The Sun: "During their three- hour walk, Piers and Simon discussed the possibility of working together, and the hope is that Piers will come on board. The format needs shaking up, and obviously Piers has form with this."
Piers and Simon have worked together before on Britain's Got Talent.
Scots broadcaster and former BBC mainstay Andrew Neil, who presented political debate show This Week, has also offered Piers a job on the forthcoming GB News channel.
Since walking off air, Bristol man Alex Beresford has broken his silence on the live bust up and has released a statement about the matter.
Alex spoke about Piers' departure on Twitter, saying he just wanted him to listen rather than quit the show.
