Piers Morgan in furious clash with Sarah Palin over 'nonsense' claims about dead voters

Piers Morgan lashed out at guest Sarah Palin on Good Morning Britain today as he confronted her over former president Donald Trump.

The 55-year-old presenter grew increasingly frustrated when Palin, 56, refused to say whether she felt President Joe Biden won the election fairly.

As Palin continued to elude to "shenanigans" taking place during the election, Piers hit out and the interview quickly grew tense.

Piers pointed out: "We normally like having you on the programme because we have a good two-way, robust debate. Today you've just come on and you're just talking nonsense. I don't think you believe this!"

Palin began: "How is it nonsense when I'm telling you facts about the -"

Piers interjected: "They're not facts! There was no fraud!"

Irritated, Palin snapped: "Oh really?! Just look into that one issue, just one issue - that being the dead people who voted!"

Sighing, Piers exclaimed: "Oh please!"

Palin continued: "You can't tell me, 'Er, they didn't vote' or 'Er, they legitimately voted from their grave!'"

As Piers' co-star Susanna Reid tried not to laugh, he responded: "I say this with the utmost respect to you - you're sounding totally bonkers.

"Part of the problem for the Republican Party is that people like you - high level members - are still perpetuating this utter load of nonsense that somehow there was fraud that stopped Trump winning. Trump got hammered in this election!"

Palin exclaimed: "Wonderful, great! I'm telling you, I'm trying to make it easier for you. I sound bonkers for trying you tell you the truth! Because you won't listen to your guest who is trying to let you know where some voter fraud was manifested. It certainly was!"

Piers replied: "Sarah, the trouble is the only dead people that really we should be focused on are the people who died at the capital at the insurrection which was sparked by the inciting words of the president of the United States, aided by people like Rudy Giuliani."

And viewers were left cringing, with one tweeting: "Sarah Palin is as mad as a box of frogs isn’t she? #GMB."

While another commented: "Very painful listerning to the Sarah Palin interview #GMB #piersmorgan."

A third wrote: "This just in, Sarah Palin is nuts. Completely delusional. So nothing has changed then? #GMB."
