Piers Morgan in a Spurs shirt! Arsenal fan 'in hell' after losing bet with Peter Crouch after Tottenham win

Celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan said he was in "hell" after being made to don a Tottenham shirt to conduct the EFL Cup semi-final draw.

Good Morning Britain presenter Morgan and former Spurs striker Peter Crouch had bet on the winner of Wednesday's north London derby quarter-final, with the loser donating £1,000 to charity and wearing the rival shirt for the draw, live on Sky Sports.

Goals from Son Heung-Min and Dele Alli gave Spurs a 2-0 win at the Emirates, leaving Morgan to pull on the white strip.

"It was a total disaster from start to finish," Morgan said of Arsenal's performance.

"I thought after the Premier league thrashing we gave them here it would be a walkover. We didn't turn up.

"When you have to do this afterwards it's about as sickening as football gets.

"The sooner we get on with this draw, and I can just get out of here and out of this shirt, the better."

The semi-final line-up sees Spurs face another London rival, Chelsea, while League One Burton Albion will face English champions Manchester City.
