Piers Morgan gives wife Celia a lockdown haircut and teases 'what could go wrong'

Piers Morgan gave his wife Celia Walden a haircut on Friday and joked about what could go wrong.

The GMB star took to his Instagram earlier today and updated his followers on how he is getting on during the lockdown which resulted in him becoming a hairdresser.

The controversial TV personality got the scissors out and began trimming Celia's hair as she sat comfortably in her chair.

Little did she know what was going to happen, as her cheeky husband joked: "What could possibly go wrong..." on his Instagram, with laughing emojis.

Piers is yet to upload a snap of the after, but his fans were extremely worried about how it turned out in the end.

Taking to the comments section, his puzzled followers asked him to put the scissors down as they couldn't watch.

Among the sea of comments, one wrote: "Look forward to seeing the after photo!!"

"I can't look that's not where you start with a haircut," a second fan shared.

And a third added: "No no no..someone hide the scissors please."

Earlier this month, Piers moaned about his "butchered" hairdo after Celia had to step-in and trim his hair during England's third coronavirus lockdown.

And it appears it was Piers' turn to get his wife back when he cut her hair.

Speaking on GMB after Celia worked her wonders on his mop, he told Susanna Reid: "Celia cut my hair again."

He then added: "I told her 'go short' because we don’t know, there may be a national lockdown soon."

Finding Piers' reasoning comical, Susanna giggled as she hit back: "Well, she isn't going anywhere, it's not like Celia is shutting down her hair salon."

Piers continued: "No, but I am trying to shut down the number of times she cuts my hair."

Susanna teased: "So butcher it the first time? And then we don't need to do it again."

Agreeing that he thinks his hair has not been given the best chop, he added: "As you can see! It is short, very short, isn't it?"

Proving that she approves, Susanna replied: "It is looking good, very good!"
