Piers Morgan received his Covid 19 jab and joked that although he 'barely felt a thing' it it wasn't as painful as working with Susanna Reid.
The Good Morning Britain star said the process was 'amazingly efficient' and that they 'treated me like the idiot I am' as he went for the important injection.
Piers, 55, was given the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine and told fans on Twitter: '"JABBED!"
"Thanks to everyone at the Violet Melchett Centre in Chelsea for an incredibly quick, efficient service.
"In and out in 9 minutes! Had the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine. Here’s the historic moment..."
During a video of him which showed the process he went though, he said: "So here I am, I'm about to have my AstraZeneca jab, I'm that old."
"The doctor here is going to be administering it to me."
"I have to say it's been an amazingly efficient operation...we were told exactly where to go, you treated me like the idiot I am, nothing was left to chance."
He told the doctor: "It's just down to you now to make sure I don't die."
The doctor told Piers they planned to complete around 560 jabs in half a day with the help they were receiving from the medical centre's 40 volunteers.
Following his injection Pier said: "Very painless. There it goes. That's it, barely felt a thing.
"Not even as painful as working with Susanna Reid!"
Piers has said before that people should be encouraged to get their injections and in December called on politicians to also receive the vaccine early - and be broadcast on air - to encourage others to follow suit.
