Piers Morgan was forced to apologise to viewers as Sharon Osborne swore live during today's episode of Good Morning Britain.
The 67-year-old appeared on the show alongside her daughter, Kelly Osborne, as well as ITV host Susanna Reid, Joan Collins and American blogger Perez Hilton.
While cutting to a red carpet interview of South Korean film director Bong Joon-ho, whose film Parasite won the gong for Best Picture at the Oscars last night, Sharon's microphone was accidentally left on.
During this time, the wife of Black Sabbath star Ozzy Osborne could be heard uttering 'f******' live on air.
Following the technical error, Piers was left to apologise for the slip-up as they filmed the show from Hollywood.
He said: "We just have to make an immediate and early apology for some profanity that may have been heard earlier.
"You’ll be unsurprised to hear that Sharon Osbourne, it took her, well, it’s 27 minutes into the show, three minutes into Sharon Osbourne’s appearance on the programme, and we’ve already got to air a formal apology.
"So Sharon, we’ve got to try and get through the next two-and-a-half hours, without actually being taken off air. So if you could somehow..."
Sharon, clearly ashamed and shocked by her mistake, then apologised to viewers: "I'm so sorry!" She repeated
Susanna then pointed out to the television personality and businesswoman that although it may be 10.30pm in Los Angeles, it is 6.30am in the UK.
Lots of viewers tuning in from home took to social media to react to the explicit moment.
