Piers Morgan fires back at GMB's Alex Beresford over Life Stories confession after on air spat

Piers Morgan has taken aim at his Good Morning Britain colleague Alex Beresford, after the weather host made an admission about Piers' show Life Stories, leaving viewers convinced there's some "beef" between them.

Piers and presenting partner in crime Susanna Reid have been absent from GMB this week over the half term break but that hasn't stopped Piers from grabbing some attention from his actions on Twitter, including a rant against NHS and care home workers over the Covid vaccine.

And after Alex revealed on Thursday's show that he had never watched an episode of Life Stories, Piers hit back on Twitter with a similar jibe.

Speaking to-host Charlotte Hawkins, Alex admitted: "I've never actually watched Piers' Life Stories before," before saying he was considering breaking that trend to watch last night's episode featuring Chris Eubank.

She replied: "I don't know what Piers is going to say to you when he next sees you," but Alex didn't have to wait long as, sharing a Twitter video of Alex on GMB, Piers wrote: "To be fair, I’ve never watched his weather reports."

Piers' reaction comes after he and Alex had an awkward moment on Good Morning Britain on a recent episode.

Introducing one of Alex's forecasts, Piers said: "He is far from being the greatest weatherman of all time," before Alex responded: "Well the great news is that Piers is not here tomorrow, but the bad news is that the weather is pretty testing out there."

Reacting to Piers latest dig at Alex, one of his followers said: "I would go as far too say that they have a strong dislike for each other. I believe Mr B has a real chip on his shoulder. Never really feel comfortable watching."

In agreement, another reacted: "I've always wondered what the "beef" is between you both. Is it for the cameras or do you genuinely not care for each other."
