Piers Morgan fears Trump may ban him from visiting US after ridiculing him over coronavirus

Piers Morgan has admitted that he is worried that President Donald Trump could ban him from visiting the US after ridiculing him over his comments on coronavirus.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 55, was left very upset last week after former friend Trump unfollowed him on Twitter after Piers' latest article slamming Trump's "bats**t" coronavirus cure theory.

He took aim at the US president as he said the crazy theory - to inject coronavirus patients with disinfectant and use UV light to treat the illness - "will kill people".

Appearing on GMB today, Piers was talking about the subject of aliens with co-host Susanna Reid and weather presenter Laura Tobin.

However he went on to address his visa for the USA, saying: "My visa for America, I'm actually classified officially as an exceptional alien - that is the exact description.

"So every time I go through customs there and I do my little global entry thing, up it comes - alien. That's the actual classification!"

Susanna asked: "Hasn't Trump stropped you from going to America, though?"

"He might," Piers conceded. "He might see me as an unexceptional alien the way things are going and I might be barred entry."

Susanna added: "To be fair, I don't think it's confined to you, I think that was an immigration ban, wasn't it?"
