Piers Morgan dubs Meghan the 'new Kim Kardashian' after Netflix reality TV documentary claims

Piers Morgan has called for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to have their Sussex titles stripped after they reportedly signed up for a fly-on-the-wall Netflix reality TV documentary.

Appearing on Good Morning Britain, Piers dubbed Meghan the "new Kim Kardashian " after it was reported that the former Hollywood actress was keen for people to see the "real her".

Their £112million deal was initially believed to have involved primarily voice over work and producing.

However, an insider told The Sun that the reality show would provide fans with a "glimpse into their lives" - despite the couple previously insisting that they had moved to the US to avoid media intrusion.

Reacting to the news today, Piers turned to Susanna: "As the most ardent Meghan fan in the world..."

"I'm a great defender of the Duchess," Susanna admitted.

Piers continued: "When will it drop that she came over here, took our prince and the titles, went back to Hollywood. I mean, a £112million deal with Netflix at the back of her royal status.

"And now Miss Privacy has now for one of the films she's done for £112million is a fly-on-the-wall documentary. Every part of their lives is going to be filmed!

"At what point do these scales come down from your eyes?!"

"Well, I do think I've reached the tipping point," Susanna admitted. "I am really private and I think if you are going to complain about intrusion into your privacy, having a fly-on-the-wall documentary about your private life is not the message you should be sending!"

Piers added: "She really is the new Kim Kardashian, isn't she?"

*Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV
