Piers Morgan demands £5 million and use of Simon Cowell's car for Britain's Got Talent return

Piers Morgan has declared he will only return to judge Britain’s Got Talent if two extreme demands are met.

The 54-year-old Good Morning Britain host was a judge on Britain’s Got Talent’s first four seasons between 2007 and 2010 and memorably caught the attention of Susan Boyle in 2009.

Reflecting on his time on the show, Piers says he would gladly return to the popular ITV reality show if he was handed a giant pay check and if he could have one other requirement meant.

Fielding questions on Twitter , the star made his demands clear for all to see - with one of the points relating to show overlord Simon Cowell’s personal car.

Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell were the original judges of BGT (ITV)

Britain's Got Talent WON'T be airing audition of tragic dancer Jack Saunders

Mate how much would it take to get you back on BGT? Get rid of Walliams. I’ll pay,” one BGT viewer - who is seemingly not a fan of David Williams, who has been on the show since 2012 - asked via Twitter.

And Piers replied: “£5m + use of Cowell's Bentley.”

Piers has previously hinted he would return to the show - and thinks he is the true secret to the show’s success.

Discussing a possible return during airtime on Good Morning Britain, recently, Piers asked co-anchor Susanna Reid: "When were the highest ratings for Britain’s Got Talent? Oh I remember, it’s when I was on it - 20.3 million people watched the Susan Boyle final, it’s about half that now.”

Blowing his own trumped, he added: “Simon, I’m available to boost those ratings. If you wanna get a bit of the old GMB magic, just write a big cheque baby and I’ll be there."

Piers was also a main judge on America’s Got Talent for that show’s first six seasons between 2006 and 2011.

He was then replaced by Howard Stern in 2012, before Simon Cowell took the reigns in 2016.
