Piers Morgan confronts Welsh anti-Brexit campaigner with a megaphone

Piers Morgan has taken revenge on a Welsh anti-Brexit campaigner by using a megaphone to drown him out.

It is not the first time the controversial host has clashed with ardent remainer Steven Bray, from Port Talbot, but this time he brought out a megaphone to help make his point.

Pier was cross that Steven was constantly interrupting political reporter Ranvir Singh as she brought the latest news on the Brexit chaos to viewers.

She had to keep her cool as he shouted "no more Brexit" through a megaphone in the background.

It was all too much for the 53-year-old presenter who picked up his own megaphone to deliver a message to the protester.

He shouted: "Alright Steve. Shut up about Brexit. Shut up about it. Nobody wants to hear from you. Be quiet about Brexit.

"You’re not going to stop it. It's the will of the people. Shut up. That's it. Alright Steve?

"See you you don’t like it when we‘re do it. Ruining your morning."

Piers Morgan called vocal Welsh anti-Brexit campaigner outside parliament a 'moron'

Continuing, Piers said: "Yes, you. Ruining every single one of our news broadcasts.

"Mine's bigger than yours. I have a bigger megaphone than yours Steve. Right now you are being out-megaphoned."

Fellow presenters Susanna Reid and Charlotte Hawkins fell into a fit of giggles before Piers' co-host reminded him that Mr Bray's megaphone was in fact bigger.

Everyone in the studio started giggling as Steve started shouting back on his megaphone.

The camera panned to Mr Bray, dressed in Union Jack attire, but it appears that the new star of the show couldn't hear what was going on.

Instead, he got to enjoy his minute of air time.

It didn't quite end there either as when Piers stopped shouting, Mr Bray replied: "Revoke Article 50."

To which Piers jokingly replied: "Shut up."

Viewers were also quick to join in and support Piers.

It is not the first time the pair have clashed, last week Mr Morgan called him a "complete moron" and criticised his "neanderthal mutterings".

Mr Bray is a familiar character outside Westminster, having set up camp there 20 months ago to protest against Brexit.

Talking to WalesOnline after the show, he said: "The beginning of the end of Brexit starts with the extension."

In August, 2018, he found his own way to keep the flag flying about Brexit: by secretly raising the EU flag on an empty flagpole at the Neath Port Talbot Council offices.
