Piers Morgan confirms shake up to GMB presenting duties as he prepares to return

Piers Morgan has confirmed his presenting duties on Good Morning Britain have been subjected to a shake up.

The host has been taking a half term break as has Susanna Reid, with Charlotte Hawkins, Ben Shepherd and Andrew Beresford stepping in to present the ITV show.

But Piers has explained he is back next week and with a different schedule.

He usually only presents the show for the first half of the week, but next week he is taking viewers all the way through to the weekend.

A fan had tweeted Piers: " @piersmorgan Hi Piers, are you on leave or other projects?

"Absent from GMB and no Susanna either".

Piers replied: "Been promoting my book Paul, but we're back every day next week in a rare 5-day treat for the nation."

One fan replied: "Thank god you’re back next week. I watch live from Oz (probably illegal... it’s just too bland and “nice” when you’re not there.

"You’ve had way too many days off this year already".

Another added: "Piers get back on GMB it’s totally s***e without you! So s***e that am watching Dan !"

Kim was blasted as "tone deaf" for celebrating her holiday on a island as many people drew attention to the US death toll in the pandemic hitting around 226,000 (@KimKardashian /Twitter)

But another remarked: "Can’t you write another book as it is a pleasure to watch GMB without you."

Piers recently took to Twitter to slam Kim Kardashian for her "tone deaf" thread after she flew her loved ones to a private island and showed off the lavish vacation in photographs.

Kim wrote: "40 and feeling so humbled and blessed.

"There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter."

But the "tone-deaf" comment didn't sit well with Piers, who instantly hit out at the mum-of-four in a stern response.

Piers wrote: "This thread is so repulsive it makes me want to vomit. Not that we needed confirmation but what a spoiled, tone-deaf imbecile."
