Piers Morgan celebrates book launch on boozy night out with Jake Wood and Gary Lineker

Piers Morgan celebrated the launch of his new book by hitting the town for a boozy night out with his pals Jake Wood and Gary Lineker.

The Good Morning Britain host, 55, gathered his famous friends together for dinner to mark the release of his latest tome, Wake Up.

They were seen having a meal at swanky Spanish restaurant Cambio De Tercio in west London.

Piers even took a copy of the book along to the bash with him, and got his mates to pose for a photo with him.

Piers was seen sitting at the table holding up a hardback copy, while EastEnders star Jake and former footie ace Gary pretended to take a snooze.

Piers captioned the snap: "The book launch is off to a thrilling start! Both guests loved it... #WakeUp."

Sharing the same picture, Jake added: "Going very well here at @piersmorgan book launch @garylineker @cambiodetercio #wakeup."

During the meal, they missed the football as Piers' team Arsenal took on Gary's beloved Leicester City in the Carabao Cup.

The Gunners won 2-0 and Piers couldn't resist gloating, sharing a picture of Gary looking miserable as he held up the final score on his phone.

He captioned the pic: "Enjoy the game, Gary?"

Piers released his new book this week, describing it saying: "If, like me, you’re sick and tired of being told how to think, speak, eat and behave, then this book is for you.

"If, like me, you think common sense is being thrown out of the window, then this book is for you. If, like me, you think the world’s going absolutely nuts, then this book is for you."
