Piers Morgan calls Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 'freeloading chancers'

Piers Morgan has slammed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle once again after they launched their own podcast.

The Good Morning Britain host branded the couple "freeloading chancers" and "narcissists" in his latest column.

Meghan, 39, and Harry, 36, announced this week they will be releasing a podcast on Spotify called Archwell Audio that "uplifts and entertains audiences around the world" and features "diverse perspectives and voices".

Writing for the MailOnline, Piers said: "The one thing the world definitely needs right now is those two absurd ultra-woke freeloading chancers giving us yet more of their views on life from the sanctity of their $11 million Californian mansion.

"As with everything the Duke and Duchess of Sussex seem to do these days, their new commercial venture appears to be driven by large dollops of narcissism, hypocrisy and greed."

Piers also accused Harry and Meghan of using their royal titles to earn money.

He added: "Meghan and Harry have turned into the most god-awful royal grifters, cynically exploiting their royal status to line their own pockets."

The Mirror has contacted reps for Harry and Meghan for comment.

It comes after Piers pretended to vomit when talking about the podcast on GMB.

After listening to the couple introducing their new project in a teaser clip, Piers said: "How utterly vomit-making."

His co-host Susanna Reid, who usually defends Meghan and Harry, said she "thought it was a parody".

She then added: "Even I am finding it hard now."

In response to Susanna's admission, Piers yelped in excitement: "They've lost Susanna Reid! Breaking news!"

He went on: "If they weren't royals they wouldn't be making this money. I don't mind if they aren't royals."
