Piers Morgan has made no secret of his loathing for Love Islanders, and once dubbed them all a "bunch of brain dead zombies".
So when he caught up with 2018 winner Jack Fincham on Monday, he jokingly unleashed the unflattering nickname, captioning a snap of the pair, "Chillin' with a brain-dead zombie."
But Jack's fans weren't happy, with one sniping, "Rude. Who are you Piers?"
"Are ppl who tolerate you brain dead? Must be majority of Britain then," a second fan retorted, while yet another branded Piers "rude".

However, others tried to calm the unrest, with one follower explaining, "Piers called all the love islanders ‘brain dead zombies’. I think it’s tongue in cheek humour not meant to cause offence!"
Piers certainly wasn't a fan of Jack and fellow Love Island winner Dani Dyer last year, and regularly accused them of faking their romance.
"Two people on live television, faking some kind of romance... they're in love with being Z-list celebrities," he said on Good Morning Britain. "They know they're live on television, it's not real!"

And when someone pointed out she was EastEnders' star Danny Dyers daughter, he sarcastically replied, "I massively misunderstood the situation.
I think it's one of the most endearing and heartwarming things I've ever watched.
"If Danny Sr is watching, I'm all for this wonderful romance, and I hope you welcome Jack to the bosom of your family."
