Piers Morgan celebrated his book's sales numbers by tweeting out a message to those who are "celebrating his demise".
The motormouth broadcaster, 55, sensationally quit Good Morning Britain last week after hosting alongside Susanna Reid for six years.
Piers' departure was announced by ITV the evening after he had clashed with Alex Beresford on-air over controversial comments he had made about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle 's interview with Oprah Winfrey.
These had included casting doubt on the veracity of a number of claims made during the interview, including Meghan's admission that she had struggled with suicidal thoughts.
Since walking away from his role at ITV, Piers has split viewers' opinions on whether or not he's missed on-screen.

Taking to Twitter, the 55-year-old blew a kiss to the haters as he boasted about his book - titled Wake Up - surging up the charts.
"Great to see Wake Up back in the Sunday Times best-seller chart for the first time in 10 weeks & at its highest ever position," he tweeted.
"I continue to be staggered by all the support I’m getting. Thank you! (And to all those still gleefully celebrating my ‘demise’, mwah)."
The non-fiction piece examines his fears surrounding a new form of liberalism that he feels is stifling free speech.

Piers' book sensationally topped the bestsellers list last summer three months before it was even published.
And now his book is sitting comfortably in the number 5 spot - the highest it has been since it was published in October last year.
Elsewhere, it was reported earlier this week that Piers' rant about the Duchess of Sussex racked up an eye-watering 57,121 Ofcom complaints - making it the most complained about ever.
Last week, Ofcom received 41,015 complaints about Piers' comments which instantly sparked an investigation.

This number dwarfs the near 30,000 complaints made about dance group Diversity's Britain's Got Talent performance, in which they performed a Black Lives Matter-inspired routine.
It also surpassed the 25,000 complaints over a Celebrity Big Brother episode in which Roxanne Pallett had alleged assault by housemate Ryan Thomas.
An Ofcom spokesperson said: "We have launched an investigation into Monday's episode of Good Morning Britain under our harm and offence rules."
