Piers Morgan has slammed the new Greggs vegan steak bake as a "total con" and refused to try it on Good Morning Britain.
The host previously took issue with the bakery chain's vegan sausage roll and "vomited" after trying the pastry.
This time he refused to try the new meat-free steak bake and claimed people were "falling for it", Hull Live reports.
He angrily told viewers: “If you Google ‘steak’, a steak is a cut of meat or fish, it’s not vegan or vegetarian.
“This is non-meat, and they should not be using meat terminology to sell non-meat products.”
After being urged to try it by his co-presenters, he said: “I’m not going to try it, I vomited last time.
“That is not a steak, and that is not a sausage roll.
“Sausage roll has meat in it, steaks are meat or fish products.
“They are not vegan or vegetarian products.
“It’s a total con, you lot are all falling for it.
“There were queues round the block at some Greggs in Newcastle... and you’re all falling for it.”
Co-host Susanna Reid argued the move was helping to protect animals.
She said: “People aren’t eating them because they’re good for you, they’re eating them because they’re good for animals.”
“Apparently every vegan saves 200 animals.”
