Piers Morgan blasts 'Cheshire cat' Meghan Markle saying she 'got what she wanted'

Piers Morgan took aim at Meghan Markle yet again on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday morning, following her final royal event.

She and husband Prince Harry made the decision to step back from royal life earlier this year, stepping down from their roles and duties.

Neither Meghan or Harry will use their HRH titles going forward, and they won't receive funds from the public as they make their move to Canada, for now, leaving the United Kingdom.

Following their final royal engagement this week, Piers shared his concern for the Queen, Harry's grandmother.

He also took the moment to hit back at Meghan once more, after previously being called out for comments about her.

Speaking with co-host Susanna Reid live on the ITV morning show, he likened the actress to the "Cheshire cat".

He claimed she'd "got everything she wanted" yet again blasting the star, while referencing feud rumours between Harry and his brother Prince William.

Piers commented: "A lot of the tension surely is that they have been holding the royal family, the Queen to ransom.

"These two have been laying the law down to the Queen.

"This obsession we have with, are Meghan and Harry okay... they’re fine, they’re going off to Hollywood to become superstars."

He added: "I bet the Queen’s not been okay. Her grandsons are at war."

Continuing his sting, Piers claimed the focus should be on the Queen and not Harry's wife.

He said: "I know we're always supposed to be thinking, 'Is poor Meghan okay?' she looks fine to me.

"She’s spent the last three days like a Cheshire cat. She’s got everything she really wanted. She's back in Hollywood..."

Piers added: "What about the Queen? My sole thought is, is the Queen okay? I think she’s had a horrible year and it’s been helped in my view by this quite selfish conduct."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
