Piers Morgan backed by fans as he tells trolls to 'relax' over 'lads holiday' with sons

Piers Morgan has been backed by fans after telling trolls to 'relax' over his latest holiday.

The former Good Morning Britain presenter has been enjoying a 'lads holiday' with his sons and has been posting updates on social media.

Piers, 56, and his boys Spencer, 28, Stanley, 24, and Albert, 20 have been enjoying their time at the Jumby Bay Island Resort in Antigua.

But the TV star has come under criticism for his sharing about the trip.

Putting it right, Piers shared a sweet split picture of his three sons which included a throwback from their younger years at the exact same resort and one from this year's trip showing how quickly his sons have grown up.

"How it started…. How it’s growing…" he shared alongside the post.

"Thanks to all the brilliant staff at @jumbybayresort for another wonderful holiday. Really is a very special place run by very special people.

"My sons and I go there most years for our annual ‘lads holiday’ and love Jumby like a second home because that’s how everyone who works there makes us (and every other guest) feel."

And Piers couldn't help but fire back, adding: "Ps Relax, trolls, I paid full whack….

"I just give them lots of Insta love because they deserve it."

Fans were quick to back the controversial star, admitting to loving seeing him enjoy his family time.

"I don't think you have to justify yourself, just a dad enjoying with his sons," one said.

Another commented: "I love how important your kids are to you, real testament to you that they still want to do things with you #greatdad."

"Ah how lovely, nice you spend quality time with your boys," a third added.

A fourth said: "3 gorgeous boys, you must be a proud dad."

They also noticed something about Bertie in particular.

"The smallest is now the tallest ..Have a fabulous holiday with your boys," a fan commented.

Another said: "The smallest has ended up the tallest. Good picture."

"Love how it's always the youngest son that ends up being the tallest," a third laughed.

Piers' wife Celia Walden and their nine-year-old daughter Elise have not joined the 'lads holiday'.

But Celia didn't seem to mind and joked last week that she's having her own "Piers-cation" at home.

The former journalist, 45, shared a snap of herself on Instagram enjoying a day out at Hyde Park and her followers were quick to ask why she hadn't joined her husband on holiday.

One asked: "Why [are] you not in Antigua with your hubby! much better there?!"

"He’s having a boys holiday. And I’m having a Piers-cation…" she jokingly responded.
