Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid taken aback when politician hastily walks off GMB

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were taken aback today when a politician hastily walked off the Good Morning Britain set.

Rory Stewart Mp got into some heated discussions with the presenters during a lengthy interview on a number of topics, including Boris Johnson , Brexit and schools.

But the chat ended on a good note as Piers said they ended "on a point of total unity and agreement" over the need to improve our schools.

When Susanna revealed Rory was the GQ politician of the year, Piers welcome him to the "curse" of losing your job after receiving the honour.

The ex-Tory cabinet minister then stood up and made a swift exit before the interview had come to an end.

Not knowing what was going on, Susanna said: "He's off!"

Realising his blunder, Independent MP Rory then stepped back, before getting the green light to go from Piers.
