Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid left speechless by uncanny Japanese doppelgängers

Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid were left speechless on today's Good Morning Britain by their uncanny Japanese doppelgängers.

Showbiz reporter Richard Arnold hired some familiar looking friends to keep him company while watching the rugby world cup in Japan.

Richard explained: "I’ve hired a Piers and Susanna for you. Not only do they look like you, they actually sound like you. Over to you, Hero."

Pier's counterpart, who was the spitting image, lifted his arms in the air and shouted his catchphrase: "The world's gone nuts!"

Back in the UK, the speechless GMB hosts looked gobsmacked, while Susanna's counterpart shook her head.

Stunned Piers said: "What am I looking at? What is happening here?

Piers wanted to hear from the Japanese Susanna, but Richard said they needed to keep her chat to a minimum to be realistic.

Filled with joy, Piers said: "You’ve rented someone to play me that's called Hero. That makes sense to me."

Hero then kept shouting out "the world's gone nuts" a staggering 12 times in the space of five minutes.

Baffled Piers said: "You know what this show's gone nuts.

"I don’t know what been watching but it's very funny."

Richard, who revealed they only charged £100 a day, admitted he couldn't shut up the Japanese Piers.

Susanna said he was like a Piers robot that had gone back to factory setting and was stuck on a loop.
