Piers Morgan and Stormzy in Twitter spat after musician tells kids at his old school the Prime Minister is a 'very bad man'

Stormzy has defended his decision to tell primary school children Prime Minister Boris Johnson is a 'very bad man' in a Twitter row with Piers Morgan.

The grime star headed to his old school in south London last week, where he was grilled by year 3 pupils.

One student asked why he doesn't like the Prime Minister.

Stormzy compared Mr Johnson to the Big Bad Wolf from fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood.

"Boris is a very, very bad man", he replied.

"You know like the Big Bad Wolf - he's gonna come down and blow your house down".

He laughed: "That's why we don't like Boris Johnson."

Stormzy's remarks ruffled the feathers of ITV Good Morning Britain host Piers.

"He shouldn’t have done this, and shouldn’t have been allowed to do this," he said on Twitter.

Stormzy replied: "The kid asked me a question and I replied truthfully nothing wrong with that Piers lol."

Piers then asked the music star to 'wield his power and influence more carefully'.

"Come off it @stormzy - saying stuff like that to a bunch of very young school kids isn’t cool, and you know it. You’re a hugely influential role model now to so many youngsters, wield that power more carefully," he posted.

Stormzy didn't back down, adding: "No it isn’t cool, it’s the truth lol.

"Again, they asked me a question and I answered it truthfully and with jest. I gave em my opinion, they’ll grow up and be able to make their own, this ain’t a shocking incident pal sorry lol".

The morning TV presenter then shared another series of posts saying 'teachers would be fired if they said that'.

The young children also asked the artist which famous celebrity he would like to kiss; why he doesn't like 'wastemen'; and how he knows so many bad words.

"I don't actually know any bad words," Stormzy told them.

Other questions included 'do you pick your nose and eat it?' and 'how did you become a celebrity?'.

"Do something you love, then that will make you a celebrity," Stormzy replied to the latter.

He also revealed Jay Z is his favourite rapper.

Before the General Election, Stormzy urged his fans to vote Labour, dubbing Corbyn a 'man of hope, a man of justice, a man of equality'.
