Piers Morgan and Ben Fogle lead tributes for Lord Bath of Longleat, 87, who has died after contracting coronavirus

Tributes have been pouring for the owner of Longleat Safari Park, Lord Bath, following his death after being admitted to hospital with coronavirus.

Lord Bath died at the age of 87 on Saturday, April 4 after being admitted to the Royal United Hospital in Bath the previous week where it was confirmed he had coronavirus.

Social media has now flooded with touching tributes to the safari park owner. They comes from the likes of Piers Morgan and Ben Fogle.

Lord Bath was 87-years-old when he died.

At his peak, he ranked 359th in the Sunday Times Rich List with an estimated wealth of £157 million, Mirror Online reports.

He was the head of the Bullingdon Club at Oxford University before founding the Wessex Regionalist Party, which called for devolution of power to the regions.
