Piers Morgan alleges Meghan Markle ditched him 'like a sack of spuds' in explosive claims

Piers Morgan has claimed he was 'ditched like a sack of spuds' by Meghan Markle after he admitted he'll be watching her and Prince Harry's much hyped Oprah interview through 'jaundiced eyes.'

Good Morning Britain host Piers had just been blasted by Kevin Pietersen over his treatment of Meghan and Harry, with cricketer telling him to 'leave them alone' as her appeared on the early morning show.

He then made the short trip to the This Morning studio to join presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, to talk about the latest episode of his show Life Stories, featuring actor Rupert Everett.

But talk soon turned to Meghan and Harry, in light of the headline hitting allegations against her 'bullying' staff while the couple still lived in the UK.

Reports claim she faced several bullying complaints from members of staff during her time as working royal, reducing them to tears.

Piers reacted: "Meghan's all for the 'I want to hear women's voices' but the women who left the palace, allegedly bullied out, have all signed non-disclosure agreements apparently on their leaving, so where does that sit with women being silenced?"

Opening up on the Oprah Winfrey, which will air on ITV, how he'd been treated been treated by Meghan, Piers said: "We're all going to watch it. And I'll watch it through a slight jaundiced eye I can't pretend I have from my own experience of having been friendly with Meghan and then been ditched like a sack of spuds!"

Referring to his constant criticism of Meghan and Harry, Holly asked: "Is that where it all started?" to which he replied: "I'd feel the same way I would if you did it, if Phil did it or anyone else.

"I don't know her anywhere near as well as I know you guys but I find it odd when people are overtly friendly to you for quite a long period of time - 18 months or so - and then because they meet someone higher up the social ladder, they ditch you.

"And you see all the stories about Meghan, it's a regular pattern.

"All that did was inform me that there was a different side to her."
