Piers Morgan accuses Prince Harry of trashing royals for millions in latest swipe

Piers Morgan took another swipe at Prince Harry and accused him of "trashing" the royal family for millions.

The former Good Morning Britain host was less than impressed with the Duke of Sussex's honest conversation in the documentary, The Me You Can't See.

Prince Harry sat down with Oprah Winfrey for the Apple TV documentary and opened up about his family "neglecting" Meghan Markle's mental health struggles.

He also claimed that they drove him to "exhaustion" - resulting in him burning out - with their jet-setting work demands.

Of course, Piers immediately took to Twitter to share his opinion: "Oh FFS. Is there no end to Prince Privacy's victimhood tour?

"Constantly abusing his family, knowing they can't respond, is so pathetic & cowardly. Man up, Harry - and shut up."

One Twitter user came to Harry's defence, telling Piers his lack of "understanding and empathy is appalling".

"What 'empathy' is Harry showing his family as he constantly trashes them in public?" Piers responded.

"It's grotesquely unfair (they can't answer back) outrageously hypocritical, and he's making millions from doing it. THAT'S appalling."

During the show, Harry opens up in detail about how Diana's death in 1997 influenced his decision to quit the glare of life in the royal family.

Harry also addressed the traumatic memories from his childhood including the death of his mother Diana, Princess of Wales, and the harassment his wife and him receive on social media.

Referring to his attempts to get help from his family when the abuse got worse, the Duke of Sussex said: "Every single ask, request, warning, whatever it is, to stop just got met with total silence or total neglect.

"We spent four years trying to make it work. We did everything that we possibly could to stay there and carry on doing the role and doing the job."
