Piers Morgan a 'gibbering wreck' as he pulls out of presenting duties and issues health update

Piers Morgan was forced to pull out of his show Uncensored on Talk TV. In a health update, the 58-year-old revealed he was a "gibbering wreck" after a bad case of food poisoning.

The presenter explained he was left "puking" as he explained the reason why he "looked so queasy" while on air the night before. He also shared who would be replacing him.

Revealing he would be absent from the show that aired on Tuesday, April 25, Piers told his 8.4 million followers: "UPDATE: Some dodgy sushi has rendered me a puking gibbering wreck (which is why I looked so queasy on air last night) so I won’t be hosting @PiersUncensored tonight. "

"Get better soon, Pier," wrote a third. "Stick to fish and chips next time you fancy seafood!!" Following the episode, stand-in presenters Kate McCann and Harry Cole shared two side-by-side pictures on social media, before and after their gig.

"Before (the nerves!)… and after," Kate wrote, responding Piers said: "Great job guys, thanks. @MrHarryCole."
