The Portuguese will be keen to strengthen his squad after a sixth-place finish in the Premier League this season, with plenty of work to be done to chase down the teams ahead of them in the table.
There is unlikely to be much money to spend in N17, with the coronavirus pandemic hitting the club hard. But Mourinho will want to change things up to put his own stamp on the side he took over in November.
Tottenham could free up cash for Mourinho to spend by offloading some fringe players and there are a number of candidates for that.
