Spurs’ King masterstroke and Mourinho’s part in it all
Ledley King’s appointment as Tottenham’s new first-team assistant is a PR masterclass, as Alasdair Gold writes.
However, it’s not a move to just please the “disenchanted fanbase”, as King has taken time working with the academy since his retirement in 2012.
When Jose Mourinho was appointed as Spurs boss last year, he quickly struck up a bond with the former Tottenham captain.
It appears that this bond has led to King’s appointment, but also with the Spurs legend proving his worth off-the-pitch after such an impressive career on the field.
Amazon release new clip from Spurs documentary
There has been a new behind the scenes clip released from Amazon Prime’s ‘All or Nothing’ series based on Tottenham’s season, and it features Lucas Moura.
The new series has followed Spurs around all season, and will feature Mourinho’s arrival at the club.
A new clip has now been released - by football freestyler and Spurs supporter Billy Wingrove - and it features Moura surprising fans whilst they’re on a stadium tour.
On-the-pitch, it was a disappointing season for Spurs, to say the least, but at least supporters will be able to see what went on behind the scenes during the campaign.

Hojbjerg drops biggest Spurs hint yet
Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has dropped a massive transfer hint ahead of his proposed move to Tottenham.
It looks as if the Danish midfielder will join Spurs and become their first signing of the summer transfer window.
It now seems that Hojbjerg has dropped his biggest hint yet that he will be joining Mourinho’s side, by liking an Instagram post that said his move to Spurs has been completed.
The former Bayern Munich midfielder is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Spurs ahead of the move from St. Mary’s
