Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent a message to fans after his disappointing night at the office on Thursday.
Aubameyang made the headlines in Arsenal's 1-1 Europa League Round of 32 first leg draw with Sporting Benfica in Rome, missing a host of chances that could have seen the Gunners take an advantage to Athens next week.
Instead, Mikel Arteta's men had to settle for a point after Bukayo Saka turned home from close range after a near move, cancelling out Pizzi's penalty only two minutes earlier.
Aubameyang had chances before and after the goals, but the pick of the bunch came in the first half when Hector Bellerin delivered a perfect cross.
Aubameyang had just the keeper to beat and a wide-open bottom left-hand corner, but he somehow managed to scuff the ball wide from all of eight yards, at best.
The Gabon international went on to miss further chances in what was a hugely frustrating evening for the striker, and indeed Arsenal, who felt they should have left with an advantage heading into the second leg.
Aubameyang came in for plenty of criticism for the performance, as you might expect, but he took ownership for his under-par display after the game.
He wrote on Twitter: "We deserved better and I should Score couple goals today but still one Game to Go we keep going. Well done @BukayoSaka87," along with a pepper emoji, suggesting Baka is in hot form.

Aubameyang has not had it easy this season, coming in for criticism after failing to hit the ground running after penning a new deal with the Gunners last summer.
But he has regained form of late, and heading into this game, he had scored a hat-trick in the Premier League win over Leeds United.
He will now be desperate to return to that goalscoring form ahead of the Premier League clash with Manchester City this weekend and the second leg with Benfica next week to put things right from his night to forget in Rome.
