Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang sends message about his Arsenal future after Man United transfer links

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has spoken out about his future Arsenal aims and fans will love it.

The 30-year-old forward has been outstanding for the Gunners from the moment he arrived from Borussia Dortmund last year for £56m.

Aubameyang bagged 22 Premier League goals in 36 matches last term and already has six in six so far during the 2019/20 campaign.

Wild speculation linked Aubameyang with Manchester United this summer but the Gabon captain is more than happy with his current surroundings as he explained in an interview with Sky Sports.

Ahead of Arsenal's clash against United on Monday Night Football, Aubameyang said he firmly believes that the current crop of players can achieve success in the coming years and bring regular silverware back to the club.

"I feel that we can change something in this club and we will try. Now it's time to win trophies," Aubameyang told Sky Sports.

"I'm sure we can do it and I am honestly happy to be here. I feel very good. For the next few years we want to play at a high level and win trophies. That's what we are talking about."

Aubameyang also touched on the dramatic comeback win against Aston Villa last time out in the Premier League which has Arsenal in good spirits ahead of their trip to Old Trafford.

"It was something special. When you come back with ten men it's really not easy," Aubameyang added. "Scoring the winner was great. I went to the fans because it was crazy."
