Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's two-word response to why Unai Emery doesn't play Alexandre Lacazette

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have a good relationship both on and off the football pitch.

The Arsenal frontmen are good friends and work well together at the top of the pitch.

The duo scored 51 goals between them last season in all competitions - an incredible return - and with Nicolas Pepe joining the club for a record £72million fee this summer, fans are excited by the prospect of a forward three.

It remains to be seen how Unai Emery will set up his team moving forward though, with Lacazette having to make do with a place on the substitutes' bench against Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.

The Frenchman has only just come back from an injury, which could be the reason for being benched at the weekend, but it left some Arsenal supporters asking questions about his role in the team.

And one fan decided to ask the question to Aubameyang.

Unai Emery: Arsenal showed 'character' against Liverpool

The Gabonese striker was with his friend Romain Perchappe on Monday, as seen by Perchappe's Instagram account.

And Perchappe posted a photo of Aubameyang on his Instagram Stories simply saying: "Posez-moi une question," which translated means ask me a question.

And the follow up Story post showed Aubameyang with a thinking face and the question: "Why does Emery not play Lacazette?"

Aubameyang's thinking face was half of the answer, with the rest of it in the form of two words and one emoji: "Good question," and the shrugging emoji.

Does the frontman think his mate should be playing more?
