Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said he wants to become an Arsenal legend after signing a new three-year contract with the club.
The Arsenal captain has put pen to paper to finally put an end to speculation over his future, with Aubameyang confirming his new deal in a live stream via the club website from the Emirates Stadium.
Aubameyang was joined by team-mates at the stadium as he broadcast to fans, with Arsenal legend Ian Wright joining him via a video call to congratulate the Gabon international.
And Aubameyang has said he wants to become a legend himself at Arsenal over the next few years in a message to the Gunners fans.
"Arsenal fans, finally, as you know, I've just signed da ting! I wanted to share this with you guys," he said.
"People were asking, it's finally done, I'm really happy to be staying here. This is my home and as you know, it feels so good here. It's a great day, I hope you enjoy your day.
“I signed da ting because I want to become an Arsenal legend and to maybe leave a legacy. It is time to work a lot to become a legend, for sure, I will do my best as always. I just signed da ting. Hopefully you are happy, and I can't wait to see you in this beautiful stadium soon.
