Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was clearly impressed with Gabriel Martinelli's equaliser for Arsenal against Chelsea.
The Gunners wonderkid cancelled out Jorginho's first-half penalty at Stamford Bridge with a wonderful solo effort, although the goal owed a lot to N'Golo Kante's timely slip.
In the starting line-up due to Aubameyang serving the second of his three-game ban after being sent-off against Crystal Palace, Martinelli is certainly proving to be a capable deputy.
He opened the scoring against Sheffield United at the weekend, to which prompted Aubameyang to heap praise on the teenager.
"Gabi’s gonna be a superstar," he wrote on his Twitter account.
"Not because of the Goal because of the attitude Energy and mindset."
And after Martinelli's goal against the Blues, the Gunners skipper took to social media again.
Whilst not saying anything, Aubameyang tweeted with two eye emojis just minutes after the Brazilian had found the back of the net.
Aubameyang's reaction is also his first comments amid links to Barcelona.
According to Goal, a natural centre-forward is on the club's radar ahead of deadline day and ere eyeing an audacious loan move for the Gunners' leading scorer this season.
In addition, the report claims Barca decided that they want to sign Aubameyang in light of Suarez's knee injury, with talks being held between president Josep Maria Bartomeu, CEO Oscar Grau, director of football Eric Abidal, technical secretary Ramon Planes and new head coach Quique Setien.
However, Setien has refused to be drawn on the speculation.
"They're internal issues and it's preferable for me if you don't ask me, because I am not going to say anything, so let's not waste time," the Spaniard said, as per Sport .
With that said, a move to Barcelona for Aubameyang could be complicated given previous comments about him wanting to play for Real Madrid.
"Yes. It's a promise I made to my grandfather," he told beIN Sports after a Champions League match whilst at former club Borussia Dortmund.
"Right now I feel very good at Dortmund but in the future we'll see."
