Arsenal fans are still waiting on an announcement regarding Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future, with an official confirmation of an extension not yet forthcoming.
It has widely been reported that the experienced striker has agreed to a new deal in north London, with his current contract due to expire next summer.
However, until that has been officially announced, fans are being left anxiously waiting - and the Arsenal social media team has been teasing supporters.
Aubameyang has been doing much of the same but fans believe that they may have got ahead of the curve after spotting what they believe is a huge hint.
In a video posted on social media, it's claimed Aubameyang can be seen at the Emirates Stadium wearing his trademark number 14 shirt - and the fact that he's standing alone indicates it could be some sort of announcement.
However, with the recording taken from some distance, it's not entirely clear and some fans have been speculating that it could be something else, or somebody else.
It remains to be seen whether this is another eagle-eyed observation, with Arsenal fans having history after lip-reading Henrikh Mkhitaryan in a video ahead of Aubameyang's signing from Borussia Dortmund.
With that said, it would appear that Arsenal fans have jumped the gun.
It has since emerged that the filming was for a music video that is being shot inside the stadium. Rapper Yizzy was at the Emirates Stadium yesterday filming a new music video and was mistaken for Aubameyang on Twitter by some over-enthusiastic people on the stadium tour.
In fact, whilst there was activity at the Emirates, Aubameyang was at home.
He took to social media to upload a video to his Instagram story of him dancing and having a good time after featuring in a pre-season friendly against MK Dons yesterday afternoon.
Despite the contract announcement delay, Willian revealed that the prospect of playing alongside Aubameyang was a big part of his decision to join the club.
"I joined Arsenal because we can challenge for titles but Pierre will be a big part of the plan," Willian told The Sun. "He has to stay — it is very important to me.
"This is a guy who gets 25-30 goals a season and we have to keep a player like that.
"He's one of the best players in our team and somebody I want to be making chances for."
