On May 12, the race for the Premier League's Golden Boot award concluded with three players collecting the honour between them.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ended the season with 22 league goals, level with Liverpool forwards Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

But where does this trio rank among Europe's top scorers?

The Argentine forward leads the way once again this time around, but with games remaining, he could still be caught at the very top.

Each goal is also timesed by a multiplier, depending on the difficulty of the league. Each of Europe’s top five divisions see their forward’s goals worth two in the rankings, for example.

Here’s how the top ten – including three of the Premier League’s best performers – looks, in the race to be crowned Europe’s top marksman.

10: Sadio Mane - Liverpool – 22 goals (44)

The Liverpool winger has been in superb form this season, hitting his highest return for the club. Mane has taken a lot of the pressure from Mohamad Salah, firing in some vital goals throughout the campaign.
