Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has already named his favourite coach amid Arsenal's 'transfer stance'

Arsenal's summer transfer business won't just be dominated by potential incomings.

Amid a £30m bid for Norwich City attacking midfielder Emiliano Buendia, there are a number of first-team players at the Emirates Stadium that could be on the move when the window officially opens.

Granit Xhaka, Matteo Guendouzi and Lucas Torreira are just a handful of names tipped to leave Arsenal, while the club are also open to offers for the likes of Sead Kolasinac.

Another name who could be added to the list is a surprising one to say the least as it's none other than club captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

According to the Telegraph, the Gunners are willing to listen to offers for the 31-year-old less than a year after handing him a new £350,000-a-week contract until the summer of 2023.

Aubameyang is coming off a difficult season for Arsenal on and off the pitch

Despite netting just 10 Premier League goals, it would be a shock if he was to bid farewell to north London as it would leave Mikel Arteta needing to find an adequate replacement.

But this reported 'transfer stance' could put several teams across Europe on alert.

And perhaps London rivals Chelsea could be one of them as there is talk of the Champions League winners searching for a striker this summer amid links to the likes of Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku.

After all, Aubameyang enjoyed a fruitful spell at Borussia Dortmund whilst under Thomas Tuchel's guidance and has previously hailed the Chelsea head coach as one of the best he's ever worked with.

"He is one of the best coaches I have ever had, I cannot deny his talent," Aubameyang told SFR Sport back in 2018. "He could be a good fit with PSG, but if he goes on the adventure, we’ll have to see how he keeps the changing room together, I think that’s the hardest thing at a big club.

"He is a bit crazy, just like me."
