Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang embarrasses Mat Ryan in Arsenal training

Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang utterly embarrassed Mat Ryan in training on Tuesday.

It came during a glorious day of sunshine where Mikel Arteta had his players not on international duty at the London Colney ground.

The likes of Martin Odegaard, Nicolas Pepe and Cedric Soares have joined up with their national sides over the last week.

It comes as countries vie for qualification to Qatar's 2022 World Cup, but not everyone from Arsenal have been jetting off.

Arteta has managed to keep a large core of his squad with him in north London.

One of them included is his club captain Aubameyang, who was in a rampant mood in training on Tuesday.

And his victim was Arsenal back-up goalie Ryan, who joined from Brighton on loan in the January transfer window.

In a shooting drill, the Gabon international left the Australian red-faced after a delightful piece of skill.

As Ryan rushed to close down Aubameyang, the former Borussia Dortmund star looked calm and composed.

And with a nonchalant flick of his foot, the ball was past the Brighton loanee before he had a chance to even know what had happened.

Arsenal uploaded the clip to their official Twitter account, to which Ryan replied with two annoyed emojis.

Another tweet saw the 28-year-old demand a save compilation of his to make up for his social media woes.

Ryan has been largely left on the bench during his time at the Emirates, making just one appearance in the Premier League.

It comes after losing his first-team spot to Robert Sanchez at Brighton and a permanent move to Arsenal is on the cards.

With Bernd Leno making a number of huge errors in recent weeks, there have been calls for Ryan to play in the German's place.

But Arteta has stuck by the ex-Bayer Leverkusen star on more than one occasion.

There are big matches coming up for the Gunners, including Slavia Prague in the Europa League.

And they jump straight into action when the Premier League returns this week when they face Liverpool at the Emirates on Saturday.
