Aubameyang nears new deal
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is close to signing a new three-year deal at Arsenal.
There has been plenty of speculation over the striker's future this summer with just one year left to run on his current contract.
Yet the Daily Telegraph have reported that Arsenal believe they are on the brink of tying his future to the Emirates.
Talks are said to have reached a stage where the Gunners are now drawing up the final proposal for the striker to sign following a round of talks where verbal promises were made.
Loan decisions made
Arsenal intend to integrate Emile Smith Rowe into the first-team next season.
The youngster spent the second half of last season on loan with Huddersfield Town and had been linked with another move away this summer.
Yet the Gunners are set to heed Arteta's pleas to integrate him into the first-team set-up.
The Arsenal boss believes that, even if Smith Rowe was to play more minutes elsewhere, being around the senior environment at London Colney will serve his development better.

It has left plenty questioning what the Gunners' recruitment plans will be.
The Gunners' hierarchy have close ties with major agent Kia Joorabchian, whilst another significant agent, Arturo Canales also has a relationship with the Gunners.
