Pictures show plans for £75m Elysium Water Park with amazing rides and virtual reality

Pictures have revealed what a proposed £75m indoor water park could look like.

Artist impressions of the Elysium Water Park have been released, giving us a glimpse of what would be the UK's biggest indoor water park.

Some attractions at the park near Bournemouth would even use Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies if the proposals go ahead, Wales Online reports.

The water park has not yet received planning permission and could face a number of issues, including whether the area could support thousands of extra visitors.

However, if the plans are given the green light, the park will feature numerous slides and tunnels as well as large tube attractions where visitors can float down spacious rivers.

The flumes would also be transparent so visitors can enjoy views of the parks which would be 75 acres in space.

The attraction would also feature country gardens, a spa for adults, a lake, outdoor sitting areas, country walking trails and restaurants for visitors to explore.

When it's finished, Elysium could boast a capacity of 4,000 visitors a day and would welcome around one million guests every year, according to its website.

You can find out more on the Elysium Water Park website.
