Pictures show how firefighters tackled vehicles that were 'well alight'

Firefighters have revealed how they tackled a blaze overnight involving several vehicles that were 'well alight'.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the incident in Sandiacre.

Firefighters from Stapleford attended, supporting colleagues from Derbyshire.

A statement on the Stapleford Fire Station Facebook page said "a number of large vehicles were well alight".

Pictures appear to show at least one camper van up in flames.

"Four fire crews and a water bowser attended the incident, along with officers in supportive roles," the statement added.

"A number of firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used hose reels and main jets to tackle the fire."
