Shocking pictures show the aftermath of a fire which has ripped through a Dublin school.
Emergency services rushed to the scene of the blaze in the Artane/Coolock area on Wednesday morning.
Devastating images show a large section of the building's roof caved in as smoke rises from Scoil Chaitriona Cailini.
The primary girls school has been shut for the day following the inferno.
And the fire has resulted in one person being taken to hospital due to smoke inhalation.
Gardai attended the scene an alarm was raised at around 6am.
A spokesperson said: "Gardai and Fire Services are currently dealing with a fire at a School on Mask Ave, Artane. The alarm was raised shortly after 6am."
Dublin Fire Brigade said: "We were called to a school fire shortly after 6.10am this morning when an alert local resident spotted the flames on Mask Avenue, Artane.
"In total 6 fire engines, a turntable ladder, emergency tender & foam unit were sent to the fire.



"The turntable ladder was used as a water tower to pump water from above directly onto the fire. One person was teated for smoke inhalation nearby. If you're living near the school, close all windows as a precaution."
It's understood over 200 girls from the area attend the school, which has been running since 1960.
St Paul's Youth Club has been open for tea and coffee from 9am for the local community.
